Henry Terhoeve has practiced law for over three decades and in that time has tried many jury and bench trials to final conclusion.  He has also filed and/or participated in many appeals as evidenced by his corresponding list of appellate cases.  It should be considered that not all cases are appealed such that the lengthy list evidences a very active trial practice.  Cases have been tried to conclusion in most Louisiana parishes, all federal courts in Louisiana, and several administrative courts.  He has participated in appeals in all Louisiana federal and state appellate districts.

His practice focuses on the defense of insurers and their insureds with special areas to include insurance defense, insurance coverage, property insurance, personal injury, bad faith, and insurance fraud matters.  He has lectured and written on these topics and participated in the legislative process to advance legislation pertaining to trial practice.
